The students and teachers of Nanyang Technological University CN Yang Scholars’ Club visited ELSI as a part of the ‘ELSI School Outreach Programme’ on 20th May.

 

At Mishima Hall, participants attended a presentation by Christine Houser, a Specially Appointed Assistant Professor at ELSI, who provided an overview of ELSI and delivered a lecture titled “How earthquakes help us understand how planets make life”.

 

Afterward, the students were given an opportunity to experience the research environment at ELSI through a guided tour of the facilities, including labs.

 

A total of 14 students and teachers joined the programme.
Participants also expressed interest in the ELSI graduate programme.
