Eishin Yamazaki won the 1st place for the poster presentation award at the 12th Colloquium of the Eastern Japan Branch of the Society for Biotechnology, Japan held on 29 February 2024 at Tsukuba University Tokyo Campus. Yamazaki is the 3rd year undergraduate student of ELSI Professor Tomoaki Matsuura.
 
His poster presentation title was “Effects of the C-terminal helix of Class III polyphosphate kinase 2 on enzyme activity and higher-order structure.”
