The latest edition of the ELSI Origins Outreach Newsletter is now available. In this issue, ELSI scientists Naohiro Terasaka and Anuradha Thakur, present their interdisciplinary research on the Origins of Life. Their work spans biological evolution, experiments simulating the artificial evolution of viruses, and recreating the early Earth’s atmosphere and oceans to investigate key chemical processes that contributed to the emergence of life.
The edition also features the life of a graduate student at ELSI by Maxwell Craddock, a graduate student in the ELSI course.
The ELSI Origins Newsletter is published once a year and is aimed at high school to university students and the public. It provides information about ELSI’s research activities and environment.
