Eito Hirai with the certificate from the Japanese Society for Planetary Science

 
Eito Hirai won the Outstanding Presentation Award from the Japanese Society for Planetary Science. This was awarded for a presentation given at the 2024 fall meeting of the Japanese Society for Planetary Science at the School of Medicine of Kyushu University from 24-26 September 2024. Hirai is a 3rd-year doctoral student at ELSI and supervised by Professor Yasuhito Sekine.
 
His presentation title was ‘Temperature dependence of the surface energy and the elasticity of the organic aerosol analog materials.’

 

‘I’ve been working toward this award as a goal for several years, so I’m really happy to receive it,‘ said Hirai. ‘I will continue to work hard in my experiments, aiming for a major discovery someday.’
