Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) is a mission to the outer Solar System led by the European Space Agency (ESA) in collaboration with NASA, JAXA, and Israel Space Agency. The mission will conduct observations of gas giant Jupiter and its three large moons – Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa.

JUICE is scheduled to launch on an Ariane 5 rocket from Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou on 13 April 2023, where it will start the eight-year journey to the ice moons of Jupiter.

The launch will be livestreamed by JAXA, featuring ELSI Director and JUICE project scientist, Yasuhito Sekine.
