The 47th Annual Meeting of the Society for the Study of the Origin and Evolution of Life Japan will be held on 28 and 29 March, 2023 at the Earth-Life Science Institute (ELSI). The day 1 will be in English and day 2 in Japanese. The meeting will be convened by ELSI Professors; Shigeru Ida and Kosuke Fujishima.
The Society for the Study of the Origin and Evolution of Life Japan was established in 1975. The society conducts research in a wide range of fields such as earth and space chemistry, life science, microbiology, astronomy, geology, and planetary science in order to understand the essence of life and get closer to the answer to the question “Where did we come from?” The society members, experts and interested parties gathers annually to share and discuss latest in the fields of research covered by the society.
