The 5th Japan SciCom Forum (JSF) will be held in-person on November 21 and 22 in Okinawa, a the OIST campus. The conference expected to gather domestic and international science communicators to discuss, share, and learn best practices and cutting-edge topics in science communication. The programme features four workshops, panel discussion, flash talks, and a networking session. It will address best practices and cutting-edge topics in science communication. The keynote will be given by Ali Bailey, Director of Communications and Public Engagement, Francis Crick Institute (UK), will discuss about challenges and best practices in science communication.

 

Japan SciCom Forum was started in 2018 to build a community for anyone working on globally targeted science communication and outreach from Japan. Press officers, journalists, researchers, students, translators, URAs and others are welcome, whether based in Japan or abroad.
