On January 20, 2026, students from universities participating in the Campus Asia Plus Program – part of the MEXT’s “The Inter-University Exchange Project” visited ELSI.

The Campus Asia Plus Program is an educational programme jointly operated by four universities: Science Tokyo, Tsinghua University in China, KAIST in South Korea, and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. The visit was joined by a total of 13 participants, including students and faculty members.

The visitors first received an overview of ELSI from Specially Appointed Assistant Professor Christine Houser in the Mishima Hall, followed by a tour of the ELSI facility. Afterwards, they attended a lecture by Specially Appointed Associate Professor Harrison Smith.
