The Japan Geoscience Union (JpGU) is an academic union that covers all the disciplines of Earth and planetary sciences and related fields, with about 10,000 individual members and about 50 domestic society members. Annually the organisation organises a conference that runs for six-days. The JpGU 2025 will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture for six days from May 25 to 30, 2025.

ELSI will participate in JpGU 2025 with numerous oral and poster presentations, and with an exhibition booth.
