Students and faculty from the University of California San Diego global seminar program visited ELSI on July 3 as part of the ELSI Public Outreach Programme.

The visit included a guided tour of ELSI’s research facilities, featuring a laboratory tour led by ELSI graduate student Juan Alberto Ruiz Nunez. Participants also attended a lecture by Professor John Hernlund in Mishima Hall, which introduced key concepts in origins-of-life research and ELSI’s interdisciplinary approach to understanding the emergence of life.

A total of 25 participants took part in the programme.
