
Tomonari Kazuno won the Student Presentation Award at the 106th CSJ Annual Meeting (2026) held by the Chemical Society of Japan from 17-20 March 2026. Kazuno is a 2nd year doctoral student at ELSI and supervised by Associate Professor Kosuke Fujishima.
The Student Presentation Award is presented to a presentation that is judged on the content, delivery, and Q&A session in English, and is expected to demonstrate significant potential for the presenter’s future research activities. His presentation title was ‘Transfer of Genetic Information from Acyclic Artificial Nucleic Acid L-aTNA to DNA.’
