The students and teachers of Shimizukubo Elementary School visited ELSI as a part of the ‘ELSI School Outreach Programme’ on February 24, 2026.
The participants attended a lecture on Astrobiology: “Where Did We Come From?” by ELSI’s Associate Professor Kosuke Fujishima at the Mishima Hall.
Afterward, guided by ELSI student volunteers and Professor Fujishima, they toured the institute’s facilities, including the laboratories, and observed the environment where ELSI researchers typically conduct their work.
A total of 69 students, teachers, and parents joined the programme.
