研究概要

意識が脳から生まれてくる原理の解明を目指して研究をしています。これまでは主にヒトでの脳イメージングや磁気・電気刺激を用いて、意識と相関する神経メカニズムの同定を目指してきました。現在は、より情報理論的な観点から、意識を生み出す計算原理を見つけ出し、人工的に意識を造り出し、人工知能に実装することを目指しています。
